Yes, anyone who attends the event, is standing or in a stroller needs to purchase a ticket regardless of age. If a baby is under the age of one and will be carried by an adult the entire time, they do not need a ticket. 

Please be advised that tickets for all events are sold on a non-refundable and non-exchangeable basis.

Bowl in the Pines is an outdoor open-air amphitheater venue with no overhead covering. Please dress appropriately, umbrellas are not permitted. 

The Bowl in the Pine is CASHLESS, all credit cards are accepted for payment. 

Some Food Trucks may accept cash. 

Parking

Yes, to park onsite on the day of the event you will need to purchase a parking pass. When you check out for an event, there will be an option to purchase a parking pass on the ticketing page.

Buses and limousines / Uber or Lyft drivers are not permitted to wait in the drop-of area. We suggest you communicate via cell phone with your diver for pick up. You may be able to purchase bus parking by contacting the Snow Pond Pond Box office at 207-465-9648 or by email at: info@bowlinthepines.com.

Yes and yes. The entire Snow Pond campus has handicap parking available and meets all ADA requirements. 

Venue

No. Snow Pond is a non-smoking venue/campus!

Please check your event listing at bowlinthepines.com to make sure you know which venue your event will be held at. These two venues are on the same campus they just have different addresses and parking.

The Bowl in the Pines is an outdoor venue and the Alumni Hall is an indoor venue.

For the safety of all our patrons, we do not allow animals/pets at Snow Pond Center for the Arts during performance events, with the exception of a service animal such as a guide dog. The ADA defines a service animal as any guide dog, signal dog, or other animal individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability.

There are no ATMs located at Snow Pond Center for the Arts. All food, beverage and merch stations accept major credit cards. 

Bowl in the Pines is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. Any guest in need of assistance during an event should seek out a Snow Pond Staff member, or Security Officer. 

Bringing Items

Only small bags are allowed: 12″ x 6″ x 12″ or smaller. Backpacks are not allowed. (Exceptions are made for medical needs. Please email dylan.abbott@snowpond.org if you have any questions)

Yes. Camp chairs can be set up in the Allowed Chair Area only (First Come First Serve). Once we are too full for chairs we stop allowing guests to bring them in. We do have bench seating available, however, if you would like to be more comfortable, you are welcome to bring in your own chair, however we suggest you arrive early to ensure that we will have space for your chair. Chair sizing policy is as follows: Camp chairs must not exceed 37″D x 24″W x 40.5″H

Coolers are not permitted inside the venue and food and outside food and beverages, including water, are not permitted in the concert venue. All bottle caps will be removed from all bottles sold inside the venue. 

Strollers are allowed into Bowl in the Pines for performances. They will be searched and cannot be left in an aisle or walkway. 

For most events, small point & shoot cameras will be permitted. You must refrain from using a flash during performances. Taking photos with flash during events is distracting not only to the performers but to your fellow patrons as well. Video cameras/recorders are strictly prohibited unless hired by Snow Pond Center for the Arts or the Artist. This policy will be strictly enforced. 

Food/Beverage/Lodging

No, we do not allow food/drink to enter the venue. We do have both food/drink available inside the venue including alcohol and nonalcoholic choices. 

All guests will be required to show a valid photo ID, proving that they are 21 or older, to purchase alcohol. Guests are not permitted to: bring alcoholic beverages in from outside, drink in the parking lot, and guests may not leave with alcohol that was purchased inside the venue. Management reserves the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any guest. Venue staff is trained in responsible alcohol service management. Alcohol is served at all concerts and events unless stated otherwise.

For all events, camping is not permitted at Bowl in the Pines or Alumni Hall.

Our cabins are able to be rented out from mid-May to early June and then once again in September to about mid-October. Unfortunately, from June through August our cabins are occupied by the campers for New England Music Camp! For your reference Here is the list of our local accommodations including hotels and campgrounds.
